The recent deadly attack at a Jewish school in Toulouse, France has prompted an extra layer of vigilance in New York City ahead of the eight-day Jewish holiday of Passover.
The NYPD stresses there is no specific threat against New York City, but has added extra patrols at 50 locations in response to the seemingly religiously motivated murders in Toulouse, France.
NYPD Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said that while there is no specific threat against New York City, authorities are still increasing security as a precaution.
