Two deer got stuck in the foundation for a house under construction on Long Island Wednesday.
Asher Vongtau was alive and conscious when he was rescued at 6:25 p.m. Sunday after being trapped in an 18-inch crevice for two days.
Netting under gazebos at the Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy is meant to keep birds from getting in and nesting. One couple said the netting has led to the deaths of dozens of birds.

The incident took place at around 9 a.m. at 214 Carlton Ave., in the Clinton Hill, where a new four-story building was being built.
The woman, whose name was not released, became trapped Sunday at the 9th Street-Congress Street station on the border of Jersey City and Hoboken.
