Three westbound lanes on the upper level of the George Washington Bridge will be closed Sunday night into Monday morning, as repair work on the bridge continues.
Three of the four lanes on the George Washington Bridge will be closed in both directions this weekend so crews can replace steel deck panels as part of the upper-level deck replacement project.
Three of four eastbound upper level lanes will be closed Monday through Thursday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., and from midnight to 8 a.m. Friday into Saturday.
Construction will go on from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday on the upper level. On Saturdays, the span won’t re-open until 10 a.m., officials said.
