Sanitation Tackling Trash Backlog Following Repeated Snowstorms

New Yorkers have been complaining that trash is piling up amid the snow lately, but a Department of Sanitation official asked for patience as crews catch up.

Sanitation Workers Stage Protest At West 57th Street Facility

Forty sanitation workers staged a work slowdown Thursday protesting work conditions at the West 57th Street facility, saying that while they work at a dump, they don’t have to work in it.
