Westchester County’s Office for the Disabled

Rye Playland, which opened in 1928 in Westchester County, N.Y., is one of the few government-run amusement parks in the United States.

Thousands Expected At Annual Rye Playland With Disabilities Day

Westchester County is hosting the event on August 30. County Executive Rob Astorino says the park will first be open only to those with disabilities and then to the general public.
