English teacher Erin Sayar, 36, was arrested Thursday for rape and other charges for engaging in sexual conduct with the 11th grade student at Brooklyn’s James Madison High School, police said.
Cortez is accused of inappropriately touching three more young boys, making a total of five alleged victims.
Darryl Lynch, 55, has been charged with forcible touching, sexual abuse and an act in manner to injure a child less than 17.
Brett Picou, 30, an art teacher at P.S. 52, was charged with sexual abuse of a child under the age of 11.
Police say 27-year-old substitute teacher Chukwuma Duru is accused of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child at the Bronx Career and College Prep High School on Feb. 9.
The alleged incidents took place during the 2010-2011 school year. The children in question are now ages 8 and 9.
Wilbert Cortez, a teacher at P.S. 174, has been charged with two counts of second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the Queens incidents.
