Willis Avenue Bridge
The Willis Avenue Bridge over the Harlem River was mislabeled the “David Dinkins-Willis Avenue Bridge” on the maps.nyc.gov website.
Dinkins’ name would go on the 350-foot-long Willis Avenue Bridge, which spans the Harlem River connecting Manhattan and the Bronx.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg ignited another firestorm of controversy on Friday over East River tolls. Just when you thought the plan was out of gas the mayor is bringing it back.
The final installation phase for the new Willis Avenue Bridge got started Monday.
