The NYPD was investigating Wednesday whether the vicious stabbing of a teenager in Queens could be related to an earlier crime.
Police said 17-year-old Natasha Martinez was walking home from work alone around 11 p.m. Monday when a man came up behind her on 85th Street in Woodhaven and stabbed her nearly a dozen times.
The Forest Park Carousel in Woodhaven, Queens, is the city’s first carousel to get the designation. The Landmarks Preservation Commission unanimously approved it Tuesday.
