"Music is faith inspiration brought to life, bringing joy and wonder, touching souls, creating community," says the Trinity Wall Street website. Experience the joy, wonder, soul-touching, and community for yourself by attending its annual Festival of Early Music, a series of daily concerts held at Trinity Church and St. Paul's Chapel. Friday, December 26, through Tuesday, January 6, see schedule for details and ticket information.

"Dashing through the snow . . ." It's a hard heart who can hear a familiar lyric and not be moved by the holiday spirit. This weekend, the Mistletones will sing carols new and old. Have a spin around the seaport's ice rink, admire the tree, grab a hot chocolate, and get ready to hum along. Apparently they also do a song called "I Want Candy," which is one we can definitely get behind. Friday, December 26, Saturday, December 27, and Sunday, December 28, see schedule for details, free.

AMNH

For the past 35 years, the American Museum of Natural History has celebrated Kwanzaa with music, dance, film screenings, and special guests. This year promises to be even better and even brighter. Scheduled performers include the Eagle Academy for Young Men of Harlem, Tony Award-winning tap dancer Savion Glover, and master drummer Sanga of the Valley. Saturday, December 27, 12 and 3 pm, free with museum admission.

Say bye-bye to bad memories and so long to regrets. Kiss the shoulda-woulda-couldas, then give them a strong shove out of your life. Good Riddance Day in Times Square lets you begin 2015 fresh and free from baggage. Based on a Latin American tradition in which people burn dolls stuffed with things that symbolize bad memories, this event will let you shred and forget whatever is weighing you down. Sunday, December 28, 12 pm, free.

SilentSkate

To participate in Sound Off's #SilentSkating, you'll need to first strap on some skates. Second, you'll strap on some wireless headphones, linked to DJs providing live entertainment. (You can pick the DJ and adjust the volume.) And, finally, you'll have to channel your best Brian Boitano or Michelle Kwan. OK, so that last bit is optional. Just bundle up and have fun. Sunday, December 28, 5 to 8 pm, free, but you should reserve your headphones in advance.
