Stop into the Ace Hotel and grab a drink or dinner at The Breslin. This contemporary British pub is serving up delicious dishes and seriously savory starters. Snacks include everything from beef & stilton pie ($10) to boiled peanuts fried in pork fat ($7). Enjoy a Terrine Board ($34) with your choice of guinea hen with morels, rustic pork with pistachio, rabbit & prune, head cheese, and liverwurst. If you're going for a small plate, may we suggest the Burrata with English Pea Smash, Grilled Asparagus, Bush Basil, and Prosciutto? Definitely don't leave without trying their Chargrilled Lamb Burger ($22) with Feta, Cumin Mayo, and Thrice Cooked Chips. Grab a spoon and share their Ricotta Ice Cream Sundae ($11) or Bourbon Chocolate Cake ($11). You can thank us later. Stop by the hotel's lobby bar on the way out for a night cap or before heading out for the evening.

The Humphrey inside The Eventi Hotel is another great option if you're looking for healthy and fresh farm-to-table cuisine. Grab a cocktail before your meal – the Flower District is a fun choice for those that like something sweet yet spicy. It's made with Beefeater Gin, elderflower, tonic, fresh lime, and candied ginger. Those looking for a twist on a typical mojito should try the Kumquat Mojito – Bacardi Light Rum, kumquat, fresh lime, club soda, and fresh mint. You can also get a Big Salad here (as Elaine Benese used to say on Seinfeld). Choose from a simple Boston Bibb & Apple Salad ($13) with shaved fennel, manchego, and mustard apple cider vinaigrette to an elaborate Citrus-Marjoram "Greek" Salad ($16) with arugula, cucumber, tomato, nicoise olives, feta, red onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, cilantro, and citrus dressing. You can add on grilled chicken, shrimp, or seared tuna to any salad, as well. Another healthy and tasty option is the Steamed Salmon & Soy-Jalapeno Broth ($26). It comes with cucumber spaghetti and fresh herbs. But don't skip dessert. They're serving up Chocolate Bread Pudding ($12) with hazelnut ice cream and salted caramel and Chestnut Cheesecake ($12) with chocolate-Grand Mariner ice cream and cranberry coulis.

Friedman's Lunch is a great place to grab a bite for lunch or sit down for a hearty dinner. Classic All-American dishes like the Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($14) is taken to another level with a mix of gruyere and white cheddar along with caramelized onions and bacon - all grilled between two slices of ciabatta. Their BLT (or B.L.A.T.) is also decadent thanks to the addition of avocado and herbed aioli. Try something new for dinner like their Quinoa Fritters with capers and lemon or Blistered Shishito Peppers with almonds, citrus, and tamari. Dive into a Friedman's Burger with herbed fries ($14) or ask about the steak of the day. The Fish Tacos ($16) are another fun option – blackened Pollock, corn tortillas, citrus-fennel slaw, tomatillo salsa, sriracha aioli, and cilantro. It's comfort food at its best!

If you're looking to grab a quick bite and a brew, head over to The Liberty. They've got great seafood options like Oysters on the Half Shell, Shrimp Cocktail, and Big Mussels. Nosh on some Yankee or Southern Fried Chicken Sliders or share a Fig Jam Pizza (fig jam, prosciutto di parma, mozzarella, and parsley). Make sure to get a side of House Cut Duck Fat Fries ($7) with parsley and garlic, too. This bar and restaurant is two levels, making it easy to find a seat. And don't worry, there are so many big screen TV's in this place, that you'll be able to see the game from wherever you're sitting. Grab a seat and start eating.

What started out as a food truck a few years ago has morphed into a full fledge restaurant. Mexicue, the place that's serving up two of America's favorite comfort foods: Mexican and BBQ, now has three locations in Manhattan. Stop into their West Midtown or Times Square location and enjoy some Green Chili Cheese Nachos ($7.75) with slow simmered black beans, lime crema, house pickled jalapeños, and pico de gallo. Or try their Jamburrito - chicken and chorizo Meixcan jambalaya, slow simmered black beans, pico de gallo, cojita cheese, crispy tortilla strips, and creamy chipotle. Sip on one of their many mescals or try something from their long list of tequilas. You'll be glad you did.
