NYC Pride Week 2016: Best Bars To Celebrate

June is Pride Month all across the country. Celebrate with one happy hour after another at bars across New York City. Great drinks and wild parties all add to the fun of the first month of summer. With Pride Week taking place in the last week of the month and a parade rounding it out, revelers will be out in force. Below are the best bars to celebrate Pride Week in New York City.

Boxers has two locations: one in Hell's Kitchen, the other in Chelsea. Known as New York City's gay sports bar, Boxers is the place to be this June. The bar happens to be where the official after-party of the Front Runners race during Pride Week will take place. Take part in the 5-mile run then treat yourself to a night full of good drinks and even better company. Hudson Terrace is a Midtown bar that has a rooftop overlooking the water and the city's West Side. A great place to hang out with both straight and gay friends, the bar is half uptown lounge and half nightclub. Drink specials are offered almost every night and DJs take over most nights. Prefer to party in Brooklyn? Check out Ginger's Bar, located in Park Slope -- a popular hangout frequented by lesbians, but all are welcome. Just about every night of the week features special happy hours. Games and special events are also a big part of the bar culture, including bingo, karaoke, mixers, and dance parties. So grab the girls and head out to Brooklyn's local gay bar to celebrate Pride Month this June.

Located in Greenwich Village, this is the perfect place to celebrate Pride Month.
