The biggest week in designer fashion is around that corner and that means it's time to party. Here are six of our favorite cocktails that are inspired by the scene that is New York Fashion Week. By Carly Petrone.

Show off your favorite outfit at Zerzura at Plunge, the rooftop bar at the Gansevoort Meatpacking. Sip on their signature cocktail, the Mint Couture ($18), as you take in the 360-degree views of the city. This drink is perfect on a warm summer's day thanks to its refreshing mix of rum, mint simple syrup, lime juice, and Prosecco. Toast to another eventful Fashion Week in the Big Apple.

The designer martini over at The Marmara Park Avenue Hotel is just as fabulous as Fashion Week itself. Nola Woodall (Sweetwater Social, Goldbar, Mother's Ruin) has created the Citrus Strut, made with elit vodka, Dolin Bianco, Moscato d'Asti, and topped with a branded grapefruit peel garnish. This shaken cocktail is served straight up, so come ready to party.

Head over to STK Rooftop for two special cocktails that you just have to try. Swap out your heels for the Cucumber Stiletto – Ketel One Citroen, St. Germain, muddled cucumber, and mint – or feel pretty in pink with their refreshing Froze – a flute of rose Chandon with a scoop of strawberry sorbet. Either way, you'll be ready to hit the catwalk (aka the streets of NYC.)

Pretty Woman at The Maritime Hotel

The cocktail list over at La Sirena inside The Maritime Hotel is not only extensive, but many of the libations on the menu sound tailor-made for New York Fashion Week. Start your night out by sipping on the Pretty Woman – simply a combination of Fresh Citrus-Infused Grey Goose Vodka and soda – or pretend you're a model in high demand with the Jet Setter – Pineapple-Infused Reyka Vodka, Coconut Water, Lime, and Ancho Reyes Float. Just like all good things must come to an end, finish off your evening with the Fade to Black – Rye, Cochi Torino Vermouth, and Cynar. Don't be surprised if you see Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich strolling around -- it is their restaurant after all.

This drink is made with just four enticing ingredients: Hendrick's Gin, St. Germain, ginger and basil. Show up in your best outfit and order the In Good Fashion – Flor de Cana 12 year, Angostura bitters, orange bitters, and garnished with a flamed orange peel. Bring your friends and cheers with a You Look Smashing -- a lively cocktail made with Ransom WhipperSnapper, blueberry, lemon, and agave. Because every outfit goes with whiskey, right?
