Tucked away inside a Japanese restaurant, this East Village bar has received top reviews not only for its classy atmosphere and perfect service but for its drinks experimentation. The cocktails each have fun names and are infused with many different ingredients. You'll be delighted by the creations you find here.
Another bar that is semi-hidden, Nitecap is a mixologist heaven. Wine, beer, and of course, fancy cocktails are available here at this laid back bar. With drink names like Boyfriend Material, Smooth Sailing, and Fireside Chat, you'll be kicking back in comfort in no time. If you're looking to escape the busy streets up above, duck into this little spot with a few friends for a great night.
This spot has also received some great reviews for its location and mixology. Featuring a large menu of craft cocktails, Little Branch is a cozy little spot in the West Village. Beware though - this bar is cash only, and there's no ATM close by. A cozy underground den lit by candles, the jazz band that plays regularly adds to the charm of the place.

A fun spot to celebrate any occasion, the King Cole Bar is located inside the St. Regis Hotel. Known as the spot where the very first "Red Snapper" (or Bloody Mary, as we know it today) was served, the bar also serves a wide array of cocktails. A historic bar that gets its name from a Maxfield Parrish mural that is featured behind the bartenders, if you've gotten chummy with the mixologists, you might just coerce them into telling you the secret that lies in the painting.
