This spot has also received some great reviews for its location and mixology. Featuring a large menu of craft cocktails, Little Branch is a cozy little spot in the West Village. Beware though - this bar is cash only, and there's no ATM close by. A cozy underground den lit by candles, the jazz band that plays regularly adds to the charm of the place.

One of the newest cocktail bars in the city, this Brooklyn establishment is a great place to find specialty drinks. Like many of the classy joints mentioned already, Featherweight is housed in a speakeasy-style space that gives visitors an intimate feeling. This is a comfortable, relaxed spot where the mixologists are knowledgeable and create some great concoctions. You may have some trouble finding the bar, but if you see the white feather on the door, you've found the right place.

A fun spot to celebrate any occasion, the King Cole Bar is located inside the St. Regis Hotel. Known as the spot where the very first "Red Snapper" (or Bloody Mary, as we know it today) was served, the bar also serves a wide array of cocktails. A historic bar that gets its name from a Maxfield Parrish mural that is featured behind the bartenders, if you've gotten chummy with the mixologists, you might just coerce them into telling you the secret that lies in the painting.
