Like traditional bridal registries, Disney makes it possible for couples to register for what they want to do during their honeymoon. This is a complimentary service and a great way to get wedding guests to help pay for your Disney honeymoon.

When setting up your registry, you will be able to include items such as recreation activities, spa packages, theme park tickets and fine dining locations.

Luggage Tips

Properly packing your luggage will not only ensure you have everything you need while away on your Disney honeymoon, but also help you get through baggage checkpoints with ease. Here are some tips to help you pack for your honeymoon:

  • Check your Disney destination’s weather forecast and pack accordingly. (Do not forget to pack sunscreen when visiting Disney in Florida or California and when taking a cruise.)
  • Do not forget to pack comfortable clothing and shoes.
  • Check your airline for luggage regulations.
  • Check with the TSA guidelines to ensure your carry-on baggage is acceptable.
Arrival Tips

Start celebrating your honeymoon the minute you arrive. Upon check-in, ask your front desk cast member for a set of “Just Married” buttons. Your next stop should be the resort’s store where you can purchase a set of bride and groom mouse ears.

After checking in, make plans to take it easy on the first day of your arrival. Use this time to explore your resort and look at maps to see what you want to do. This time will also help you adjust to any time zone changes and recover from jet lag.

  • Buy something personalized, such as mouse ears or an etched glass, at one of the unique shops.
  • Slow down and take your time, because you have the rest of your life to come back to the theme parks and resorts.

Your Disney honeymoon should be a time when the two of you can enjoy some time together. Do not worry if you did not get to do everything you wanted to because when you return home, it will be time to start planning and booking your one-year anniversary trip back to Disney.
