The most American month of the year is finally upon us: July.

Not only do we get to celebrate the founding of the country by eating too many hotdogs and drinking too many beers, but in July we also get to celebrate Slurpee Day, National French Fries Day and most importantly NYC Cocktail Week brought to you by CBS New York and Foursquare. Seriously, can you think of a more American month than that? Didn't think so.

So anyway, in order to make your country proud (or ashamed), we suggest you celebrate NYC Cocktail Week and all things 'Murica at Atwood Kitchen and Bar Room.

Atwood recently opened in Midtown East in January (you know that awful month where all it did was snow and nobody wanted to go outside), and has since been serving up classic and delicious American fare that's made for sharing. It's pretty much the perfect spot to swing through for a drink and a bite on your way home from work with friends or even on your way into the office for brunch with that girl you went home with last night (no judgment here). Seriously, you're not going to find a better or more convenient place for you get a delicious drink like the $4 Spicy Margarita they're featuring during NYC Cocktail Week.

Not only do they have delightful Spicy Margaritas, but they also have a huge cocktail menu with drinks like the Last Word and the Guapo Sour that are so flavorful it's like having a firework explode in your mouth (in a good way, promise) making it the perfect place to kick off good ole Independence Day. After guzzling a few of those for the fourth, you as well keep slurping em' down in honor of Slurpee Day and then chase 'em with Atwood Hand Cut Fries in honor of National French Fry Day. See? We told you it's the perfect place for everything 'Murica.

So go ahead- slurp down some cocktails, shove some fries in your face and do NYC Cocktail Week and the whole month of July right at Atwood Kitchen and Bar Room.
