Though it’s a favorite among kids, Halloween is a time that everyone in the family can enjoy. Rather than just taking your little ghouls and goblins trick or treating this year, check out these spooky family-centered Halloween events taking place across New Jersey in the month of October. Bring your flashlight so you and your family can explore the giant night time corn maze. Though you’ll make your way through the maze in the dark, don’t fear, this is a family friendly even, so there is nothing spooky hidden in the corn walls! The fun doesn’t end once you’ve completed the maze—hop on the hayride for a tour of the farm or pick your own pumpkins by flashlight. There will be both hot and cold refreshments available, and make your own s’mores kits over the open campfire.
October 7, 2012

This family fest will feature all the great Halloween activities your kids will love! Face painting and pumpkin painting/carving will take place, followed by make your own scare crow and other kid’s games, like a cow milking contest. Puppet and magic shows will keep the Halloween spirit alive alone with mini hay bale mazes. Each year, the large corn maze has a varying theme—this year, it celebrates the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic; keep this in mind as you wander through the maze to help answer the quiz trail questions!
