“Chocolate Easter eggs are meant to be broken and eaten,” says Chef Ansel. “But most people find it a shame to break them. I wanted to do something that you would find joy and humor in smashing.” Inspired by the popular Angry Birds game, Chef Ansel created 6-inch all-dark chocolate Angry Egg. It’s really two treats in one: Break open the shell with the back of a spoon to unveil three chocolate truffles.

Bring festively decorated cupcakes home to enjoy with your friends and family from BLT Fish Shack this Easter. Through Easter Sunday, they’ll be offering vanilla Easter Cupcakes topped with pastel candy eggs nestled in shredded coconut for a sweet spring treat.
Fabergé Egg, Sarabeth's Bakery
Sarabeth’s Bakery in Chelsea Market will be whipping up festively decorated Fabergé Eggs, egg shaped lemon cakes with lemon cream filling and a white vanilla glazed frosting, decorated with colorful dragées beginning Thursday, March 28. Sarabeth’s signature shortbread cookies will also be available for Easter, including a Chicklet Cookie and hand-dipped White and Dark Chocolate Bunny Cookies. Both of these treats will also be available at Sarabeth’s Tribeca, Park Avenue South and East Side restaurant locations.

For 80 years, Aigner has been making delicious chocolates from their shop in Queens. This Easter, take home a taste of tradition with their Chocolate covered handmade marshmallow eggs. This specialty is only made once every year and is whipped to a very light and rich marshmallow center. These candies are available in milk or dark chocolate in a yellow Easter-themed box. For other sweets this holiday, try their Solid Chocolate Bunnies, Chocolate Bunny Pops and even Chocolate Dipped Peeps for the perfect Easter basket.
