Whether she's an uptown pearls-and-cashmere lady or a downtown chic trendsetter, there's a brunch that will suit your mom's tastes - and style - this Mother's Day. Make reservations to treat the special woman in your life at one of these New York City restaurants. By Sarah M. Shaker.

Enjoy Afternoon Tea at The Palm Court at The Plaza this Mother's Day, where this famous tradition blends an innovative menu with a formal tea service to create an experience that is both indulgent and exquisite. Beginning at 1 p.m., "A Very Special Mother's Day Tea" will be offered for $75 per person featuring savory sandwiches such as Seared Ahi Tuna and Smoked Salmon Grissini, fresh baked warm seasonal scones and pastries including Strawberry Almond Teacake and Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Ganache Tart. For $95 per person, guests also receive a choice of one glass of Champagne. Children will love the Eloise Tea, featuring an array of delectable small bites for $35.

The Top of The Standard Mother's Day Brunch is a fabulous adult-only option for the chicest city moms. Mothers can enjoy the city's most spectacular panoramic views, while Chef Soa Davies does all of the culinary work, so mom can sit down and relax. Menu highlights include Artichoke Salad with quinoa, manchego and green olive vinaigrette, Wagyu Steak (NY Strip with Béarnaise Sauce) and Scallop Eggs Benedict (seared scallops, poached egg, lemon hollandaise). For a kid-friendly meal, The Standard Grill will provide brunch offerings to celebrate the lovely lady in your life alongside the whole family.

If you'll be gifting mom with tickets to a Broadway show, stop by Hakkasan New York in Midtown West for a dim-sum brunch. This Mother's Day, HKNY is offering a $39 per-person dim sum with over 8 dishes served, including a decadent truffle and roast duck bun, scallop shumai and king crab noodle roll. Hakkasan is known for their elaborate cocktails as well, and for this holiday, they will be offering a Blackberry Lemonade Fizz, made with Ford's Gin, Lillet Rose, Blackberries, Lavender Syrup, Lemon Juice and Prosecco for $15. In addition to the selection of homemade macarons for dessert, the Gianduja Mousse, Espresso Ice cream and Black Sesame Feuilltine will be available for an additional $15.

Villard Michel Richard in the iconic New York Palace hosts an opulent dining experience that will be sure to impress Mom. For their first Mother's Day, Villard Michel Richard offer a Mother's Day Buffet with a wide range of hot and cold appetizers, fish and seafood entrees, meat and poultry entrees, sides and of course, Michel's famous desserts. Highlights include oysters, yellow tomato gazpacho, lobster cakes, rack of lamb and Michel's napoleon for $125 per person.

East 12th Osteria

For the mom who can't get enough of the East Village foodie scene, make reservations at East 12th Osteria for its Mother's Day three-course prix fixe lunch. For $39 per guest, Chef Roberto Deiaco will be offering Northern Italian-inspired springtime dishes including Crostacei e Molluschi alla Griglia su Purea di Piselli Profumati al Rosmarino (Grilled Baby Crustaceans Over Spring Pea Puree Flavored with Rosemary Infused Olive Oil), Mezze Lune Ripiene d'Anatra e Fegato Grasso con Petali di Tartufo di Stagione (Half Moon Shaped Pasta Filled with Young Goose Foie Gras and Duck Confit in a Truffle Sauce, Topped with Seasonal Truffles) and Semifreddo alla Pesca Bianca (White Peach Semifreddo).

The New York City classic Le Cirque will be offering a three-course prix-fixe menu -- including one for the kids - this Mother's Day. For $110 per guest, you'll have the choice of one appetizer, entrée and dessert with options including Le Cirque Salad (Black truffle infused sherry honey vinaigrette, toasted walnuts, pickled pumpkin), Tuna Tartare (Daikon, curry sauce), Tuscan Brick Pressed Chicken Ginger and Chocolate Soufflé. For $55 per child, three-course plates include Mac-N-Cheese (Gruyyere, cheddar, parmesan), Mini Cheeseburgers and a Cookie Plate with milk.

If you can't afford a trip abroad to show your mom just how much she means to you, give her a taste of the French Riviera in Nolita. Make reservations for Mother's Day brunch at Chicane, a recently opened bistro on Broome. Order a la carte dishes, such as their popular Tuna Tartare or go with the $28 three-course prix fixe with options including Arugula Endive Salad, Eggs Florentine and Creme Bruelee a la Chataigne.
