Wes Anderson's 2001 film "The Royal Tenenbaums" is showing this Tuesday as part of the free Central Park Film Festival. Take in this classic comedy-drama film under the stars between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m.

Date: Wednesday, August 20

Watch The Battle For NY

Date: Friday, August 22

Watch the Jets and Giants face off in each team's second-to-last tune up before the regular season kicks off. This game may not count in the standings, but bragging rights will definitely be on the line. Whether you're a die-hard Jets fan or a Big Blue supporter, you won't want to miss this battle for New York supremacy. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Metlife Stadium.

Catch Summer's Biggest Hit

Date: Saturday, August 23

Treat the kids to a day of live music and family fun with some of tennis' biggest stars at Arthur Ashe Kid's Day. The events start at 9:30 a.m. with games and activities all leading up to the big musical Stadium Show at 1:00 p.m. Hunter Hayes and MKTO headline the show with tickets available for $10 or $25. An open practice will also be held for most of the afternoon featuring Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.
