If you're looking for beer and shot-fueled debauchery, then Cheap Shots Sports Bar & Lounge is the place for you. Check their Facebook page on a regular basis to find out what's hot and new. They even do karaoke, which, as we all know, pairs very well with cocktails.

You can never have too much karaoke in Queens, which is why we included hot spot Place At Main. The attractive mural-painted bar is a nice place to cozy on up to. Order yourself a $6 Sigha or Sapporo and brush up on your Celine Dion and Aerosmith covers. They also serve some interesting noodle soups - perfect for a cold winter's night.

With a fine selection of beers on tap, The Parkside Pub does the trick. With friendly bartenders and a rockin' jukebox, this genuine Queens pub will leave you wanting more. Ask the bartenders for a shot suggestion, and your 'beer and shot' mission will be complete.

Beers and $2 shots rule at Parson's Ale House (technically in Fresh Meadows, not Flushing). The awning on the outside says "Food, Spirits, Fun." All of these things can certainly be had at this place - you can play darts, hang with friends, and nosh on some pub grub.

At Zurang, you can enjoy terrific sushi, pitchers of beers, and a shot of quality spirits. If it's not too chilly, check out their outdoor area. You can gaze at the stars and think of next week's 'beer and shot' posting. Where will we be next?
