Yes, we realize that cocktails aren’t exactly healthy, but there are drinks out there made with healthy ingredients that can convince us — at least for an evening — that we’re sticking to those New Year’s resolutions we made a few short months ago…
The Pomegranate Martini
The Wallace Avenue
What exactly is a goji berry, anyway? It’s touted as a superfood, full of vitamins, minerals, and protein, and it’s supposedly good for your liver. Given all of that goodness packed into one tiny fruit, it can’t possibly do too much damage in liquid form. Try the Wallace Avenue: gin, Fair Goji Berry Liqueur, and West Indian orange bitters, topped with Prosecco for a little extra sparkle.
Despite their sweetness, beets are low in calories and high in nutritional value, carrying folates, fiber, and vitamin C. The Beetnik combines all of the benefits of fresh beets with the deliciousness of Corralejo reposado tequila,Ilegal mezcal, vanilla, and ginger.
Pumpkin Patch Punch
Low on vitamin A? Have some pumpkin. It’s even better when it’s infused into Nicaraguan rum and mixed with fresh pineapple juice, grapefruit juice, sugar cane, pumpkin allspice, orange juice, and finished off with angostura bitters, grated cinnamon, and star anise to create Pumpkin Patch Punch.
The Kale Margarita

Kale is synonymous with all things healthy. Add a little ginger and you’ve got a drink that contains health benefits galore. Yes, it’s a margarita, but with ginger and kale, any damage that’s done is instantly undone. Or so we try to convince ourselves.
