Head over to the Asia Society tonight to watch two extraordinary films about farming and fertilization in China. First watch the 30-minute film, A Farmer’s Struggle, directed by Zhao Liang. Watch as an aging farmer and his wife defend their home and land as their local fishing village shrinks to oblivion. Next, watch Yak Dung, the fascinating Tibetan film about nomadic families on the Tibetan Plateau. Watch as they use yak dung as a renewable energy source for staying warm as well as a medicinal ingredient, as a way to build homes and fences, as well as a detergent. Director Lanzhe is a first time filmmaker who makes a powerful impact with this enticing documentary. Learn more tonight starting at 6:30 p.m.

Watch this new twist in the classic Shakespearean tale tonight at Macbeth finds himself in hell, and as a punishment for his wrong-doings, the three Witches play every character in the Macbeth tragic tale, forcing him to relive his story over and over again. Movie starts at dusk with free entertainment beginning at 7:30 p.m.
