Tonight’s your chance to see funnyman Reggie Watt perform a Town Hall. You’ve probably never seen a show quite like it because even he doesn’t know what will happen on stage. That’s because he is also a musician who creates on-the-spot songs using only his voice and looping pedals. Come watch him blend the lines between comedy and music tonight starting at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $42-$57.
South Street Seaport
Enjoy an outdoor film at South Street Seaport! Tonight, watch Rango, the animated movie about an ordinary chameleon who accidently winds up in the town of Dirt, a lawless outpost in the Wild West in desperate need of a new sheriff. Johnny Depp and Isla Fisher star in this 2011 hit film. Screening starts at 8 p.m. and admission is free.
Brooklyn Comedy Festival: Our Official Northside Party
Just because the Brooklyn Comedy Festival isn’t happening until August doesn’t mean you can’t start celebrating. Head over to Bar Matchless tonight for live music, a midnight dance contest, and karaoke during the Our Official Northside Party. Sip on $4 Brooklyn Lager while Jean Grae, Corn Mo, and Shellshag provide the tunes. The fun begins at 10 p.m. and tickets are free through Eventbrite or $5 at the door.
