Tonight in New York City: Celebrate Pride weekend, find out what the folks from MTV's Girl Code and Guy Code have to say, or take a dip in one of the many public pools that the New York parks have to offer. By Carly Petrone.

Hurray! It's finally time for the public NYC pools to open in all five boroughs. Now, you can cool off in one of the many outdoor pools located throughout the city. Sign up to take a swimming class with an instructor or get your workout in during a water aerobics class. Check website for more details. Pools are open from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

The Hot Sardines are ready to play some jazz tonight at Lincoln Center. Learn how to dance the Lindy Hop with Heather Flock while they play some hot jazz with a hip wink. These young lions and swing dancer favorites know their stuff, whether strutting through New Orleans-style piano-driven blues, jangling like Django, or tapping into tap-dance tradition. Dance lesson begins at 6:30 p.m. and live music starts at 7:30 p.m.

Kick off the 16th Annual Del Close Marathon with the lovely folks from MTV's Girl Code and Guy Code. They're join forces to bring you comedy magic that breaks down into nice little gender boxes. Tonight's performers include: Jon Gabrus, Jordan Carlos, Nicole Byer, Shalyah Evans, Tanisha Long, and Quinn Marchus. Tickets are $20 and show starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Gay Pride Parade may not be happening until Sunday but that doesn't mean you can't celebrate a little early. Head over to BPM Club for the CLICK Pride event. Dance the night away with DJ's from all around the world in the 14,000 sq. ft. space. You don't want to miss it! Doors open at 10 p.m. and tickets are $30.
