It’s the first Thursday of the month and that means it’s Simpsons trivia night at Berry Park in Brooklyn. Play three rounds while watching three classic episodes of the beloved animated sitcom on the big screen. Questions will only pertain to the 90’s episodes of the show so make sure to stake out your spot if you think you’ve got what it takes to win. There are prizes to be won! The games begin at 7:30 p.m. and entry is $10 per team (up to 6 players), $5 to play solo.
StarTalk Live! With Neil deGrasse Tyson
Celebrated astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson hosts the live edition of his popular talk show, StarTalk Radio tonight at the Beacon Theatre. Comedian Eugene Mirman will act as co-host while Robert F. Kennedy Jr., his holiness The Gyalwang Drukpa, and other special guests will also grace the stage. Pop culture and comedy collide in this evening of nerdy hilarity. Tickets range from $35-$55 and show starts at 8 p.m.
Caribbean Week NYC: Fusion Barbadian Cuisine

It is the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s annual Caribbean Week NYC so come see what it’s all about. On the menu tonight: cooling Bajan lemonade with bitters and fresh mint, authentic Bajan green seasoning, sweet potato & Mahi Mahi herb cakes, crispy plantain-stuffed chicken with Bajan pepper sauce, pickled green bananas and guava & ginger chutney. Yum! Class starts at 7 p.m. and costs $25.
