Dare to walk through the Woodlawn Cemetery this Halloween night? Take the History & Mystery tour and explore the unsolved mysteries and ultimate ending of its more infamous residents. Hear the tales of Orrando Dexter, whose murder at his Adirondack estate remains unsolved to this day, Olive Thomas Pickford, once the "Most Beautiful Girl in the World", now suspected to be the spirit that haunts Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre, and Ruth Snyder, the Queens housewife who met her death in a Sing Sing electric chair. It's that time of year again – when thousands of runners from across the globe convene in The Big Apple to partake in the New York City Marathon. Be a part of tonight's opening ceremony at Central Park and enjoy a parade across the finish line followed by fireworks. Meet representatives from NYC running clubs, U.S. organizations, professional runners, and wheelchair athletes during this festive celebration. Event begins at 5:30 p.m.

Learn about the life and career of Helena Rubinstein (1872-1965) tonight at The Jewish Museum. Beauty is Power, the revealing exhibit about the legendary cosmetics entrepreneur, begins today and runs through March 22nd. Find out how Madame (as she was universally known) helped break down the status quo of taste by blurring boundaries between commerce, art, fashion, beauty, and design. Museum is open until 5:45 p.m. and admission is $15 for adults, $12.50 for seniors, $7 for students.

If you're looking for something spooky to do this Halloween night, take a dark canoe ride and paddle through the desolate industrial creek of Dutch Kills. The folks from the North Brooklyn Boat Club will be leading this shadowy boat tour where upon destination you can snack on boneless troll finger sandwiches and s'mores around a campfire. It's up to you if you'd like to tell a ghost tale or two. Life jackets are required and the first boat sets sail at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $15-$25.

Faye Dunaway fans can watch her star as the infamous Joan Crawford in a special Halloween screening of Mommie Dearest tonight at Bowtie Cinemas in Chelsea. Watch the1981 film and relive the madness between Christina Crawford and her screen queen adoptive mother. Because nothing is scarier than the notorious "wire coat hanger" scene. Tickets are $8 and screening begins at 7 p.m.
