It’s enough that Rattle N Hum offers 40 brews on tap, 171 by the bottle, and has a cask brew available. So we love that if we want to find out which kegs are kicked or which brews are brand new, we can download their iPhone app and keep updated on all the happenings at this midtown tavern.

Reviews & more info

Boasting 70 taps and 160 bottles from around the globe, Ginger Man is hands down one of our favorite after-work spots. The bar is as massive as its beer list, with a wall of taps that’s both overwhelming and exciting. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help you find an ale or lager to fit the taste you seek.

145 Bleecker Street
New York, NY
(212) 353-1327There’s only 17 brews on tap here, but who needs those when you’ve got more than 500 bottles to choose from? The bar itself is dingy and feels more like a fratty faux Irish tavern thanks to the NYU masses that pack into the joint on the weekends. Still, the bartenders and wait staff know their stuff, and are ready to widdle down your beer selection and find you the bottle you’ve longed to try.

We truly believe the Blind Tiger Ale House is heaven for beer fanatics. This hip West Village favorite has more than two dozen unique brews on tap and 80 bottles in the fridge, not to mention a trio of cask beers to try. The bartenders make for excellent matchmakers when it comes to finding the flavor you’re in the mood for, so don’t be bashful if you’re not sure where to start first.

Leave it up to Williamsburg to brew up a bar boasting a bevvy of Belgian beers you’ve probably never heard of and likely will have trouble pronouncing. Of course, that’s what Spuyten Duyvil prides itself in, the “rare and obscure.” That’s what makes this dive a beer lover’s dream come true. Many of these hard to find brews are going to cost you a pretty penny, but then again, when else are you going to be able to order up a round of Zum Uerige Dusseldorf Alts?

732 Amsterdam Avenue
New York, NYGreat name aside, Dive Bar offers 29 beers on tap, nearly 100 different bottles, six hard-to-find cans, two casks, and one of our favorite menu items: the growler — a 64 oz. bottle full of draft beer to bring home. Bring that bad boy right back when its empty and fill up again with one of the 27 varities available for growler consumption.
