Ah New Year's Day, the day we're supposed to start fulfilling all of our brand new resolutions.

Instead of making the same old promise to lose weight, drink less and to call your mom more, change it up a bit this year and resolve to be a tad more adventurous.

What better way to start fulfilling that resolution than to stop doing the same old thing night after night? Rather than just going to a bar or club, try having some fun at a completely new place, like Half and Half.

Half and Half is one of the newest and most unique spots to hit Manhattan's nightlife scene. Why is it so unique you might ask? Well, instead of just being an awesome new club, it's half dance hall and half arcade. We know- it's a mind blowing concept. What this means is that you can get your dance on with that hottie standing by the bar and then you can go nerd out and play awesome arcade games with your bros.

What makes this special place even more special-er is that it's inspired by the art and music scene of the early 1980's, like when Andy Warhol used to design night clubs. So basically this means that Half and Half is centered around rotating art installations that completely transform the space every couple of months. Currently the art installation theme is "nostalgia" so you can jam out to old-school hip hop from the 1980's while you play awesome vintage games like Ms. Pacman and Frogger, all while simultaneously sipping sick cocktails like the Bees Knees and the signature Half and Half.

Sounds like a pretty awesome start to 2015.
