Then: First Place “On The Hook”
NYC phone Booths Circa 1980s. Photo by Bill Klipp
Back in the early 1980s I was wandering around lower Manhattan near Wall street with my camera when I came across a classic New York street scene. With people hustling back and forth to work I noticed a group of 4 phone booths, each being used simultaneously. Just another example of how busy the streets of NYC can be.
Now: First Place “Empire State”
View over Manhattan. Photo by Niles Harrison
It was a cold day in January and this was my first time going up to 86th floor the Empire State Building. This view is looking South over Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New Jersey. I got there just in time to catch this amazing sunset.
