PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (AP) — State police say an 8-year-old Staten Island boy has died after being pulled from the deep end of a pool at an upstate motel.

Troopers say Toni Li and his 17-year-old sister were swimming in the pool at the Super 8 motel in the town of Plattsburgh, near the Canadian border 140 miles north of Albany.
