Man Arrested For Drunk Driving With 4 Kids In Car

WESTBURY, N.Y. (CBS 2) -- A California man, caught  allegedly drunk driving with children in his car on Long Island, will face some sobering penalities.

Jose Castillo was arrested Thursday night in Westbury.

Nassau Police say he was drunk, and at the time of the arrest had four children in his car.

Castillo is charged with a DUI and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child under Leandra's Law, the legislation named for 11-year-old Leandra Rosado, who was killed last year in a drunk driving crash.

The law went into effect earlier this month.
