Suspect Sought In Deadly Bronx Stabbing

NEW YORK (1010 WINS ) -- Police are searching for a man who they say fatally stabbed a woman inside a Bronx home Sunday morning.

Elia Zamora, 28, was found stabbed in the torso around 4:50 a.m. at 2709 Webb Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights, police said. Zamora was taken to Montefiore Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Police are looking to question Hector Ramirez, 30, who apparently fled the scene before cops arrived. Ramirez is described as being 5'5" tall and weighing about 180 pounds.

No weapon was recovered at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
