Foxy Brown Finally Makes It To Brooklyn Court

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Better late than never.

Rapper Foxy Brown appeared in a Brooklyn courtroom Tuesday afternoon, hours after a morning no-show prompted a judge to issue a bench warrant.

Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, will be arraigned Friday on charges of violating an order of protection stemming from a confrontation with her neighbor, Arlene Raymond, three years ago.

Prosecutors said Brown violated the order in July by screaming at Raymond and baring her buttocks while shouting obscenities.

The 31-year-old Brown was issued the order after pleading guilty in 2008 to menacing Raymond with her cell phone. The two had argued over Brown blasting her car stereo outside their Brooklyn building.

Brown has a history of legal problems. In 2004, she attacked two manicurists. Three years later, she served seven months in jail for violating her probation from that confrontation.
