Police Arrest Patient In Nurse Beating
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- A man from Queens was under arrest, accused of physically assaulting a nurse at a hospital in Nassau County.
According to detectives, 23-year-old Donte Oakes, a patient at Franklin General Hospital, broke a wooden chair into pieces, then used one of its legs to beat the nurse.
The 53-year-old woman suffered severe injuries to her head, face and neck.
Oakes was charged with first degree assault.
