Man Brings Loaded Gun To Wake, Threatens To Use It

AMITYVILLE, NY (WCBS 880) - It was gun violence that police say killed a 16-year-old boy on Long Island.

Authorities say that, at the teenage victim's wake in Amityville, one of the mourners - Tashuan Wallace - had a loaded semi-automatic weapon in his vehicle.

Not long after the service ended, he allegedly threatened to use the weapon at the nearby Home Depot parking lot, where he got into a fight.

When officers arrived, Wallace is accused of pointing the gun at the men in blue.

No one was injured and Wallace was arrested.
