Russian-Owned Nets Partner With Stoli Vodka

NEW YORK (AP) — Already with a Russian owner, the New Jersey Nets will have a vodka partner when they arrive in Brooklyn.

Stolichnaya agreed Thursday to a five-year alliance with the Barclays Center and the Nets. Mikhail Prokhorov's team is scheduled to move into the arena after its expected opening in 2012, and Stoli will become the official vodka partner of the arena.

The first imported Russian vodka, Stolichnaya will have branding of six bars in the arena.
