2 Charged With $100K Handbag Counterfeiting
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police in Suffolk County have arrested and charged two Queens men with counterfeiting handbags with a street value of over $100,000.
Police identified the men as 32-year-old He Bao, of Corona, and 26-year-old Jie Dai, of College Point.
Officers responded to Tell Avenue Mini Storage, located at 308 Commack Road in Deer Park around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
They seized more than 200 boxes containing the Coach and Louis Vuitton handbags from a self-storage container and a rented box truck.
