Amani Toomer & Lynn Swann Talk NYC Marathon

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Ex-Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer joined Boomer & Carton Friday to talk about his preparations for running the 2010 ING NYC Marathon.

Lynn Swann called in to join the fray after Toomer trash-talked the former NFL wide receiver's 1993 NYC Marathon time of 4:26:21.

"You're going to beat down Lynn Swann's time, right?" Craig Carton asked Toomer.

"Yeah... I want to get under four hours," the runnin' receiver replied.

"Amani, come on man," Swann replied after calling in to the show to dispute his official time. "I broadcasted for two and a half hours of the marathon. So I had wireless gear strapped to my body... it failed, I had to stop at a gas station where our tech crew was, wait 20 minutes to get new equipment."

"Do you know what it sounds like to me, Lynn?" Toomer replied. "It sounds like you stopped an awful lot!"

Toomer will be the last runner to start in this year's marathon. For every person he passes, Timex will donate $1 to the New York Road Runners' youth program.
