Long Island House Voters Still In The Dark
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – Voters may not know the winner of a House race on Long Island until the middle of this week.
Incumbent Democrat Tim Bishop had been declared the winner over his Republican challenger Randy Altschuler, but the Suffolk County Board of Elections realized it misreported the vote count.
Bishop is trailing by nearly 400 votes, and it will take days to finish counting the 9,000 absentee ballots left.
