A boot, belonging to 4-year-old Aicha Sylla was left at the scene, outside her family's home in Springfield Gardens.

Her 11-year-old brother Tyzian was also hit. He was in stable condition.

"I hear the big noise and then I ran outside with my mom, and then I saw the blood and Tyzian on the floor trying to crawl up here," said their brother, Mohammed Sylla.

The driver, 39-year-old Anthony Grays, was arrested but not in connection with the crash.

Police said Grays violated an order of protection by being with the woman who was his passenger.
