Police Seek Bronx Robbery Suspect Targeting Women

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking for a Bronx robbery suspect wanted in connection with three armed holdups.

Authorities said in each incident, the suspect, said to be in his 40's, followed female victims into an elevator and threatened them with a knife or ice pick while demanding their property.

One incident took place last Wednesday – shortly after 1 a.m. -- at a building on Alcott Place.

The other two instances occurred Sunday around 1:30 p.m. at buildings on Benchley Place and Elgar Place.
