Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno To Address NJ Mayors

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) -- New Jersey's second-in-command is about to deliver the highest profile address of her political career.

The governor typically delivers the address, but Gov. Chris Christie is attending a Republican Governors' Association conference out of state.

Guadagno will be talking to municipal officials about a 2 percent property tax cap that goes into effect Jan. 1.

Mayors and town council members are nervous about the new requirement because several measures designed to help them contain costs have stalled in the Legislature.
