WCBS 880's Catherine Cioffi reports

To celebrate the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's trip up the Hudson River, the town will be burying a time capsule in the courtyard of town hall.

"It's very important," Cortlandt Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi told WCBS 880 reporter Catherine Cioffi. "It's bringing the community together."

Puglisi explains that capsule will have letters about life in town, coins, circulars from area stores, and pamphlets about area historic sites.

"There's so much history in our Hudson Valley Area," said Puglisi.

So, the next stop for this time capsule is the year 2110.
