Bayside Man Wins Lottery For Life
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- A cup of coffee never tasted so good as it did for one man from Queens who won $2,000 a week for life.
Scott Margolin thanked his taste for French Vanilla coffee for his windfall.
Last month, the Bayside resident and a friend decided to go to the Bell Boulevard 7-11 to get a cup, along with their scratch off lottery tickets.
"We kind of come down. It's coffee time so we come to 7-11," Margolin said. "We were just having fun playing it. It wasn't about, I never thought I'd win like this."
Margolin was guaranteed to get $2 million, paid out in increments over the next 20 years.
After that, he'll continue to get payments for the rest of his life.
