Jets' Woody Injures Knee, To Have MRI Monday

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (WFAN/AP) — New York Jets right tackle Damien Woody left Sunday's game early in the first quarter with an injury to his right MCL.

Woody stayed down on the turf for a few minutes after an incompletion by Mark Sanchez. He gingerly walked off the field on his own, and was examined by trainers on the sideline.

"Somebody fell on the side of my knee, don't know exactly who it was, but I am gonna get treatment and see where it's at," Woody said.

Woody returned without pads in the second quarter, and was seen riding a stationary bike.

"I'll talk to the doctor again. Once I talk to the doctor again, see where I am, we'll get full details," said the Jets' tackle.
