Got Thanksgiving Leftovers? Don't Throw It At Cars!

YORKTOWN, NY (WCBS 880) - What do you do with with leftover Thanksgiving food?

Podcast

WCBS 880's Catherine Cioffi reports

Four Yorktown teenagers allegedly thought it was a good idea to throw it at passing cars on Hanover Street.

"Cupcakes, apple pie, mustard still, paper towels," says Yorktown Police Lt. Kevin Soravilla.

Soravilla says three of the teens are 14-years-old and one is 15-years-old.

They were arrested and charged with juvenile delinquency.

Soravilla says it might sound like silly kids stuff, but he says it's actually a very dangerous thing to do.

"Any type of objects thrown at a motor vehicle is a distraction, possibly the vehicle could become involved in an accident," says Soravilla.

The teens are due in court next week.
