NJ Woman Sentenced For Sex With 14-Year-Old Boy

HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) -- Saying she's shown little remorse, a judge has sentenced a Bergen County woman to four years in prison for having sex with a 14-year-old boy.

Corrin Tempio of Rochelle Park could be eligible for parole in less than a year under the sentence imposed Friday. But the married 42-year-old mother must register as a sex offender under Megan's Law and will be on lifetime parole.

Tempio pleaded guilty in June to a charge of sexual assault on a minor as part of a plea deal that called for a maximum sentence of four years. But Superior Court Judge Eugene Austin told her she deserved a much longer term.

Tempio initially claimed the boy forced her to have sex. But she later admitted she initiated the sex act.

Authorities learned of the incident after the victim's mother found a graphic text message on his cell phone.
