Ahead Of Jets Game, Dolphins' Hartline Sidelined

DAVIE, Fla. (WFAN/AP) — Miami Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline is absent as the team begins preparations for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Hartline was sidelined when he hurt a finger in Sunday's loss to Cleveland.

The Miami Herald reported Wednesday that Hartline underwent a procedure on the finger, but has not yet been ruled out for the remainder of the season by Miami brass.

Receiver Brandon Marshall and linebacker Channing Crowder took part in practice Wednesday. Marshall missed the past two games with a right hamstring injury, and Crowder missed the Browns game with a knee injury.

It is uncertain whether Hartline will make the trip to the New York area later this week. The Dolphins are scheduled for a Friday afternoon practice at the Giants' training facility in East Rutherford, N.J.
