WCBS 880's Irene Cornell reports

Mohammed Wali Zazi entered the plea Thursday in Brooklyn federal court. The charges were contained in an updated indictment filed last month.

The elder Zazi and his lawyers declined comment outside court.

The father, who lives in a Denver suburb, previously pleaded not guilty in Brooklyn to conspiracy.

The son pleaded guilty to terrorism charges in February. A prosecutor said "al-Qaida leadership'' directed a foiled scheme to bomb New York City subways in 2009.

Najibullah Zazi is a former Colorado airport shuttle driver who attended high school in Queens.
