NEW YORK (AP) — A 12-year-old boy struck by a car over the weekend remains in a coma at a suburban New York hospital.

Peekskill police said the boy was one of several children crossing the street Saturday night at a Route 9 intersection when he was struck.

The truck was existing a southbound ramp when it happened. Police said it appeared that the 78-year-old driver had a green light. Police say the boys’ dark clothing may have been a factor in the accident.

No charges have been filed against the driver, who stopped after hitting the boy.

The boy was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. His name was not released.

@ DanTe..You are an ASS. Every comment you seem to regurgitate just allows everyone to know just how stupid you really are.
You are obviously not a loving, hardworking, family person.
And most likely you don’t have anyone who cares about you.

Get a life, if it’s not too late !

Why do imbeciles think that if they walk en mass in a group, that they can go against the lights? Too bad the other idiots were not taken out too. Now they’ll get to spawn and continue the infestation of stupid.
